Time To Boycott Elon's Boycotters
It was about four years ago that ZeroHedge went through ad monetization hell, having lost most of our advertisers because they did not approve of the content on this website and as a result they - together with such members of the Censorship Industrial Complex such as Newsguard, Sleeping Giants and CheckMyAds and various three letter US government agencies - did everything in their power to kill the site by starving it of ad revenue (it's what prompted us to launch a premium, subscription-supported version without which we would not have survived, and therefore we wish to personally thank all of our premium subscribers).
Fast forward to today, when Elon Musk is going through the same hell, as a growing group of companies are trying to do to X/Twitter what they tried to do to us by targeting the social media network and trying to starve it of ad revenue (their stated trigger of responding to the Media Matters fake news "report" was just a red herring: if it hadn't been for Media Matters, they would have found some other point of "virtue" to rally around, and pull their ads).
Of course, there is one key difference: Elon is the world's richest man, and if Twitter does not generate even one additional dollar of revenue, Elon will still be a multi-billionaire, and X can continue to operate for a long, long time if not in perpetuity (if costs are trimmed enough). It's also why Elon yesterday had some choice words for those advertisers who had halted advertising, telling them "go fuck yourself" (with a shout out to Disney chief Bob Iger) if they think they can blackmail Musk... which is precisely what ad demonetization is: a not so subtle way of pushing content and editorial direction in exchange for a monthly stipend.
Here, a brief tangent: for the most part, advertising spending is rarely about actual "advertising" and instead it is about endorsing, encouraging and funding certain ideologies and party lines which corporations agree with, encourage and seek to make default. It is about influencing the content decisions and editorial slant by implicitly threatening that the ad money can disappear at a moment's notice if something is published the company disagrees with. It's why when Pfizer or Moderna spend tens of millions for advertising in the NYT it is not so people are aware that Pfizer makes a covid booster shot - they know that from non-stop news coverage; it is to make sure that the NYT never questions the corporate party line. In other words, it is public relations in an advertising wrapper. Add to this lobby spending and political donations by those same corporations, and you have a fusion of the corporate, political and media branches, all superglued together with lots of money (and in the case of Pfizer and Moderna, it's taxpayer money) something which in simpler times has been called fascism.

Online banking services are being disrupted across the U.S.
With various conflicts going on across the globe, should you also be worried about the issues affecting U.S. banks? According to reports, several banks in America have been shutting down hundreds of branches and laying off thousands of workers.
Additionally, many customer accounts are being shut down without any warning.
U.S. banks affected by "glitches"
"Glitches" are affecting the banking system. One such glitch resulted in paychecks not being deposited at many banks recently.
Customers at major U.S. banks, such as Bank of America and Wells Fargo, have complained about delays with their direct deposits on Nov. 7, following a glitch with processing payments. Many contacted their banks through social media to report that their paychecks did not land in their accounts as expected. Some continued to complain that they were still waiting for their direct deposits days after.
Bank of America and Wells Fargo both referred questions to The Clearing House (TCH), a payments company that operates the only private-sector automated clearing house (ACH) system in the country.
The Federal Reserve claimed that the problem wasn’t because of a cybersecurity issue and that it had been resolved. And even though The Clearing House promised that things would be resolved, their promise could be hiding a threat that was undisclosed to account holders.
In an email, The Clearing House spokesperson Greg MacSweeney announced that many of the delayed payments have already been posted and that the company continues to cooperate with financial institutions to make sure the remaining transactions are processed properly.
However, an industry source revealed that it was possible some customers still haven’t received their deposits yet. The source added that banks can't do anything but wait for the originating bank to resend payment files.
Additionally, online banking services are being disrupted throughout the country on a massive scale. Data reveals that major U.S. banks also experienced unusual outages early in November.
For example, while Chase was experiencing outages, Citibank was also affected by a spike in outages. The same thing happened to Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
So what are causing these spikes in banking outages? Could they have been linked to cyberattacks? Bank account holders can only hope that things eventually settle down and that these "glitches" and outages subside.

House Rep. Reveals ‘At Least 200’ Undercover Fed Operatives Set Up Trump Trap on January 6
According to U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), there were “at least 200” undercover federal agents among the crowd on January 6. The lawmaker further stated that some of the operatives were “dressed as Trump supporters” and were inside the Capitol prior to the breach.
“The FBI was not just participating in the January 6th acts from within. I suspect they had over 200 agents embedded in the crowd, including agents or, as they would call it, human assets inside the Capitol dressed as Trump supporters before the doors were opened,” Higgins told Newsmax presenter Chris Salcedo.
Agents efficiently entered online chat groups, forums, and social media platforms where demonstrations against COVID regulations and objections to the 2020 election were discussed, according to Higgins.
“And when you track the text threads and the communications within those groups and find the origins of suggestions of potential violence or an active occupation of the Capitol on January 6th, you’ll find that those messages were led by members of the groups that ended up to be the FBI agents that had infiltrated the group,” Higgins said.
“So the FBI’s involvement was deep, not just on J6, but on the days and weeks and months prior.”
Earlier in November, Higgins pressed FBI Director Christopher Wray over the presence of undercover officers on January 6. The FBI chief has continually declined to say how many agents were among the crowd, while former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund has indicated that he was aware of anything between 30 and 40 FBI operatives or DHS personnel.
Higgins asked Wray about two busses that lacked identification, referring to them as “ghost busses,” a phrase used by police enforcement. “These (ghost) buses are nefarious in nature and were filled with FBI informants dressed as Trump supporters, deployed onto our Capitol on Jan. 6,” Higgins told the crowd.
Wray did not contradict Higgins’ assertion, but he did say that no FBI agents were involved in “the violence at the Capitol” on January 6.
According to court documents, at least twenty FBI and ATF agents were embedded around the capitol building on January 6.
The revelation about the number of FBI and ATF agents was made in a footnote to a motion to dismiss submitted by the defense in United States v. Thomas Caldwell (U.S. v. Elmer Stewart Rhodes). It is based on witness testimony, un-Mirandized statements, and multiple 302s:

White House worked with YouTube to censor COVID-19 & vaccine 'misinformation': House Judiciary Committee
FIRST ON FOX: The Biden administration worked together with employees of Google-owned YouTube in 2021 to target alleged "misinformation" relating to the COVID-19 virus and its vaccinations, according to documents obtained by FOX Business.
The documents, acquired through a source close to the House Judiciary Committee, reveal a level of correspondence previously unknown to the American public, as President Biden and his aides sought to promote coronavirus vaccinations in efforts to quell the raging pandemic.
The campaign was led by former White House Director of Digital Strategy Rob Flaherty, who has since left the administration to help run Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign as a Deputy Campaign Manager.
Flaherty emailed Google team members in April 2021 to "connect […] about the work you’re doing to combat vaccine hesitancy, but also crack down on vaccine misinformation," according to the documents.
Flaherty continued, asking for trends surrounding vaccine misinformation on the website, while offering government assistance in the form of COVID experts at the White House to partner in product work with YouTube.
Google, in an internal email, noted that after a subsequent meeting with Flaherty, the White House staffer "particularly dug in on our decision making for borderline content" — which is content that doesn’t cross Community Guidelines but rather brushes up against it, according to YouTube.
A week later, Google acknowledged that it sent the White House the total amount of videos removed for COVID vaccine misinformation, while discussing the government’s desire for even more data.
"Really [Flaherty’s] interested in what we’re seeing that is NOT coming down," read an internal Google email between employees, seemingly referring to videos that had not yet been removed.
The next day, YouTube’s Government Affairs team emailed YouTube’s Product team flagging the interactions with the White House.

BREAKING: Two Arizona Officials Criminally Charged for Attempting to Delay 2022 Election Results
Two GOP officials in rural Arizona are facing criminal charges for delaying the certification of the 2022 election results, as declared by the state’s top prosecutor on Wednesday.
A state grand jury has issued an indictment against Peggy Suzanne Judd, 61, from Willcox, and Terry Thomas “Tom” Crosby, 64, from Sierra Vista, accusing them of felony offenses related to Interference with an Election Officer and Conspiracy.
Both Judd and Crosby currently hold positions as supervisors in Cochise County, situated along the U.S.-Mexico border.
“The repeated attempts to undermine our democracy are unacceptable,” Attorney General Kris Mayes, a Democrat, said in a statement Wednesday.
“I took an oath to uphold the rule of law, and my office will continue to enforce Arizona’s elections laws and support our election officials as they carry out the duties and responsibilities of their offices,” he added.
The indictment, filed on Monday in Maricopa County Superior Court, claims that between Oct. 11 and Dec. 1, 2022, Judd and Crosby collaborated to delay the canvass of votes in Cochise County for the November election.
Prosecutors assert that Judd and Crosby deliberately disrupted the Arizona Secretary of State’s capacity to finalize the statewide canvass for the 2022 election by preventing the canvassing of votes from Cochise County within the timeframe mandated by Arizona law.
Dennis Wilenchik, Crosby’s attorney, called the indictment “nothing but political partisanship.” In a statement, he assured a vigorous defense against what he deemed baseless charges.

Trump Gag Order Reinstated By NY Appeals Court
Image Credit: Michael Gonzalez / Stringer
By Zerohedge
Color us less than surprised; but a New York appeals court reinstated Thursday the gag order imposed on former President Donald Trump by the judge overseeing his civil fraud trial.
The gag order was initially imposed by Judge Engeron on Oct. 3 (after President Trump accused the judge’s top clerk of political bias in a post on social media).
An appeals court judge temporarily paused the gag order on Nov. 16 while the former president appealed the order.
But now, in an order issued on Nov. 30, a four-judge panel of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, overturned the temporary suspension of the gag order:
“Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon…
…it is ordered that the motion is denied; the interim relief granted by order of a Justice of this Court, dated November 16, 2023, is hereby vacated,” the appeals court’s order states.
Trump’s legal team filed a mistrial motion earlier this month purporting that Engoron and his clerk have “tainted” the trial with their bias against Trump.
Engoron denied the motion, calling it “utterly without merit.”
President Trump has not publicly commented on the latest development.
Trump also faces a gag order in his federal 2020 election subversion case. That order is currently on pause as a panel of federal judges weighs its merit.

Two US Navy men arrested on China spying charges
Two serving members of the US Navy have been arrested on suspicion of spying for China, the Department of Justice said Thursday.
The men are suspecting of selling secret information to Beijing that included manuals for warships and their weapons systems, as well as blueprints for a radar system and plans for a huge US military exercise.
“These arrests are a reminder of the relentless, aggressive efforts of the People’s Republic of China to undermine our democracy and threaten those who defend it,” said Suzanne Turner of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, which was involved in the sting.
China “compromised enlisted personnel to secure sensitive military information that could seriously jeopardize US national security.”
In a press release, the Department of Justice said sailor Jinchao Wei, who served on the amphibious assault ship the USS Essex in San Diego, had handed over dozens of documents, photos and videos detailing the operation of ships and their systems.
These included technical and mechanical manuals that dealt with the weaponry of his own vessel.
The 22-year-old, who is alleged to have been paid thousands of dollars for the information, faces possible life in jail if convicted.
In a separate case, the DoJ said Petty Officer Wenheng Zhao, 26, had spied for China for nearly two years from his perch at Naval Base Ventura County, north of Los Angeles.
Zhao is alleged to have been paid almost $15,000 by a Chinese intelligence agent for information about a large-scale US military exercise in the Indo-Pacific, including details on the timing and location of amphibious landings.
He is also alleged to have handed over electrical diagrams and blueprints for a radar system at a US military base in southern Japan, where the United States has a large military presence.
“By sending this sensitive military information to an intelligence officer employed by a hostile foreign state, the defendant betrayed his sacred oath to protect our country,” US Attorney Martin Estrada said.
“Unlike the vast majority of US Navy personnel who serve the nation with honor, distinction and courage, Mr. Zhao chose to corruptly sell out his colleagues and his country.”
If convicted, Zhao faces up to 20 years in jail.

DOJ accuses Indian national of recruiting undercover DEA agent in effort to assassinate American on US soil
The Department of Justice has charged an Indian agent for allegedly working with his government to execute a political assassination on American soil.
The murder plot might have proven successful like the corresponding assassination of a Canadian citizen in June; however, Nikhil Gupta, a 52-year-old Indian national, allegedly made the error of mistaking an undercover Drug Enforcement Administration agent for a willing accomplice.
FBI Assistant Director in Charge James Smith said in a statement, "Murder for hire is a crime out of a movie, but the plot in this case was all too real." In this case, the movie has the makings of a Bollywood thriller.
The murder plot
An Indian government official who described himself as a "Senior Field Officer" with responsibilities in "Intelligence," orchestrated a nefarious plot to whack an American attorney of Indian origin over his Sikh separatist views and criticism of the Modi regime, according to the indictment.
Senior Biden officials have identified the intended victim as dual U.S.-Canadian citizen Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, reported the Washington Post.
"[Pannun] has publicly called for some or all of Punjab to secede from India and establish a Sikh sovereign state called Khalistan, and the Indian government has banned the Victim and his separatist organization from India," said the indictment.
Pannun was an associate of Hardeeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen who was gunned down on June 18 outside a Sikh temple in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Nijjar was similarly an advocate of Sikh independence and a critic of the anti-Christian Modi regime, which considers both men terrorists.
The Indian government official running the show allegedly recruited Gupta in May to carry out the assassination. Gupta in turn attempted to delegate the dirty deed to an individual whom he figured for a criminal associate, but who was actually a confidential source working for the DEA.
The confidential source played along, introducing Gupta in turn to an undercover DEA officer feigning to be a hitman.
Following some negotiation, the Indian government official reportedly agreed the Sikh attorney's death was worth $100,000 and successfully arranged with Gupta to deliver $15,000 in cash to the purported hitman on June 9.

North Korea rules out talks with ‘two-faced’ US
North Korea has blasted Washington for offering renewed peace negotiations even as it ramps up military provocations in the region and tries to deny Pyongyang’s sovereign right to develop its aerospace program.
Kim Yo-jong, North Korea’s foreign policy chief and sister of leader Kim Jong-un, dismissed the possibility of resuming negotiations with US officials on Wednesday, citing the “extreme double standards” displayed at this week’s UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting regarding the launch of Pyongyang’s first spy satellite. She claimed that US officials asked North Korea, officially known as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), to set the time and agenda for renewed dialogue.
“The sovereignty of an independent state can never be an agenda item for negotiations, and therefore, the DPRK will never sit face to face with the US for that purpose,” Kim said in a statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). “The main threat to international peace and security does not come from the exercise of the DPRK's sovereign right but from the US high-handed and arbitrary practices to disturb and oppress it.”
Kim made her comments two days after US and North Korean diplomats sparred at the UNSC over Pyongyang’s right to develop weapons systems as it sees fit to defend itself. US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield disputed North Korea’s claims that its controversial missile tests were defensive in nature, coming in response to Washington’s joint military exercises with South Korean forces.
Thomas-Greenfield offered “dialogue without preconditions,” adding that the DPRK merely needs to accept Washington’s overture. At the same time, she claimed that North Korea’s launch last week of a reconnaissance satellite violated UNSC sanctions banning Pyongyang from using ballistic missile technology.
In Wednesday’s statement, Kim replied, “The double-faced stand and behavior of the US – whose deeds are quite different from its words – are a vicious factor disturbing peace and stability in the region of the Korean peninsula along with double standards, the height of high-handed and arbitrary practices.”
Kim Jong-un has hailed the satellite launch as a major military breakthrough for North Korea, saying it heralded a “new era of space power.” KCNA reported on Tuesday that North Korea’s leader had reviewed images provided by the satellite showing “major target regions,” including US military bases, the Pentagon and the White House.

BREAKING: Argentina will NOT be joining BRICS under new Milei administration
Argentina's incoming Foreign Minister Diana Mondino declared Thursday that Argentina would not be joining the BRICS alliance, deviating from the prior plan put in place by former President Alberto Fernandez to join on January 1, 2024 after the country was invited back in August, ABC News reports.
Fernandez had celebrated the invitation extended by the bloc, comprised of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, at the time. Six other countries, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Ethiopia, were invited as well out of over 20 other countries that had applied to join the pact. The US has been paying close attention to BRICS since their 2024 Summit took place back in August, with many believing a their goal is to replace the dollar as the global currency.
Mondino simply wrote on X: "We will not join the BRICS"She will serve as newly elected Javier Milei's foreign minister once he is sworn in on December 10.
In a conversation with Benzinga, the future minister said, "The invitation to the BRICs has not yet been accepted. The BRICS are still not a commercial bloc; for now, it is more akin to a political alignment, and in Argentina, we hope to achieve multilateralism, and not align ourselves with one group of countries or another."The outgoing Argentinian government had worked towards creating closer ties with China, Russia and Iran, shifting the country away from its neutrality in international conflict. Under Milei's new government, many Argentinians are hopeful the country will return to this sense of security and independence.
Mondino had previously criticized BRICS, stating it “is more related to a political alignment than to advantages that could exist for trade between countries,” she said in an interview two weeks ago. “We already have diplomatic and trade relations with most of them.”-Jessica Barshis, Human Events

The Censorship Began Earlier and Went Further Than We Thought
Authored by Jeffrey Tucker via The Epoch Times,
There was some sense in the air in the spring of 2020 that many things were not quite normal. Here we had most governments in the world locking down their populations with extreme policies, wrecking economies and long-settled traditions of rights and liberties, while fake scientists took over the airwaves and blasted us daily and hourly with crazy messages of compliance.
It was a lonely time to be incredulous. Most of the people I would have thought would cry foul simply stopped talking. Most of what I saw on social media seemed all about conformity with the insanity. When someone would pop up to raise questions here and there, the account was shouted down brutally and socially punished for deviating from the narrative. This further discouraged people from objecting.
So on it went for months, and then got worse with the nutty masking practices and the vaccine. Suddenly every major voice from pop culture and the movies became a voice for the practice of medicine. These are people who would never recommend pharmaceuticals to people they don’t know. They are not professionals and are in no position to do so. But when the time came, they were all cocksure that getting the shot was the way to go for absolutely everyone.
One possible explanation of the unfolding frenzy was simply that society had gone mad. There is surely truth in that. History is replete with examples of such things, and I had studied them for years. We always believe that in our own times, we are too enlightened and informed for such things but apparently not. The same mad passions that led to the witch burnings, the red scares, and even the bonfire of the vanities are still with us, ready to be unleashed under the right conditions.
And yet we are learning more and more now that it was not only the madness of crowds at work. There was a deliberate construction of a narrative and an orthodoxy, all pushed at the highest levels of government. The proof of this is mounting by the week. To be sure, government is restricted from doing this directly, so over the last five years or so, we’ve seen grand experiments in outsourcing the control of the public mind to third-party organizations with an arm’s length relationship to government. This has included universities, nonprofits, and social media companies.
We’ve read all about this in the Twitter Files, the discovery from the case Missouri v. Biden, and seen evidence from many whistleblowers. But the latest leaks go beyond anything we’ve seen yet.

Pneumonia outbreak in Ohio: 142 child cases of ‘White Lung Syndrome’ recorded
An ‘extremely high’ number of child pneumonia cases have been recorded in Ohio, Daily Mail reported.
142 child pneumonia cases reported in Warren County, Ohio, termed as ‘White Lung Syndrome’
Warren County, just north of Cincinnati, reported 142 cases in children since August, calling it ‘white lung syndrome.’
This makes Ohio the first state in the US to have an outbreak similar to the one in China. According to reports from The Sun, a children’s hospital in Beijing is experiencing an astonishing daily admission of around 7,000 patients.
Concerns are rising as cases continue to increase, sparking worries about a potential outbreak similar to the overwhelming situation in China. Multiple European countries are also facing similar challenges.
‘Not only is this above the county average, it also meets the Ohio Department of Health definition of an outbreak,’ the county’s health department said Wednesday.
However, a source from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mentioned that, on a national level, everything seems normal—there’s nothing unusual happening.
In Ohio, an investigation is ongoing to figure out what’s causing this surge in illnesses. Officials don’t believe it’s a new respiratory disease; instead, they attribute it to a combination of various common infections hitting the community simultaneously.
Unusual cases prompt theories, caution urged by Warren County health officials
Patients have been diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumoniae, a bacterial lung infection that some antibiotics can’t treat effectively, strep, and adenovirus, which is typically a mild respiratory infection.
The average age of these patients is eight, with some as young as three. There are a few theories about why this is happening. One suggests that measures like lockdowns, mask-wearing, and school closures during the pandemic might have weakened children’s immunity, making them more susceptible to seasonal illnesses.
Normally, bacterial respiratory infections tend to increase every few years, often following a wave of flu or other viral illnesses.
Warren County Health District officials said: “We do not think this is a novel/new respiratory disease, but rather a large uptick in the number of pneumonia cases normally seen at one time.”
“As we approach the holiday season, when many of us will be gathering together with family and friends, please remember to take necessary precautions to protect your health. Wash your hands, cover your cough, stay home when ill and stay up to date on vaccines,” they added.

CDC, WHO: Measles Pose ‘Relentlessly Increasing Threat to Children’
The global threat of measles is growing as cases and deaths increase, according to a new joint report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
The groups said in a press release that “measles continues to pose a relentlessly increasing threat to children.”
Estimated measles cases increased 18% last year while deaths increased 43%, according to the report. About 9 million cases of measles and 136,000 deaths – mostly among children – were reported globally in 2022.
“The increase in measles outbreaks and deaths is staggering, but unfortunately, not unexpected given the declining vaccination rates we’ve seen in the past few years,” John Vertefeuille, director of CDC’s global immunization division, said in a statement. “Measles cases anywhere pose a risk to all countries and communities where people are under-vaccinated. Urgent, targeted efforts are critical to prevent measles disease and deaths.”
Measles vaccination coverage fell during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the report did note a modest increase last year. Still, more than 33 million children missed a measles vaccine dose.
“Measles is a highly contagious, vaccine-preventable disease that requires high population immunity for transmission to be interrupted,” according to the report.
Notably, the number of countries experiencing large or disruptive outbreaks increased from 22 in 2021 to 37 last year.
Low-income countries reported the lowest vaccination rates and showed no signs of recovery from the vaccination coverage decline during the pandemic. Of the 22 million children who missed their first measles vaccine dose in 2022, more than half come from just 10 countries: Angola, Brazil, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Nigeria, Pakistan and Philippines.
“The lack of recovery in measles vaccine coverage in low-income countries following the pandemic is an alarm bell for action. Measles is called the inequity virus for good reason. It is the disease that will find and attack those who aren’t protected,” Kate O’Brien, WHO director for immunization, vaccine and biologicals, said in a statement. “Children everywhere have the right to be protected by the lifesaving measles vaccine, no matter where they live.“
As of the start of this month, 41 cases of measles were reported in the U.S. so far in 2023, according to data from the CDC. More than 120 cases were reported in the U.S. last year, the majority of which came from an outbreak among mostly unvaccinated children in Ohio.
The Pan American Health Organization this year issued an alert to warn countries in the Americas to update their measles response plans to “prevent the re-establishment of endemic transmission of measles virus.”
“This follows a reduction in childhood vaccination coverage, increasing the possibility for outbreaks of this disease,” the group said.
The new measles report comes shortly after a CDC analysis found that vaccination exemptions for kindergarteners increased during the 2022-2023 school year to the highest level ever reported in the U.S. Most of the exemptions, which come at a time of heightened public vaccine skepticism in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, were listed as nonmedical.

Norovirus: Winter vomiting bug cases far higher this year, warns NHS
Nearly three times more people are suffering from the winter vomiting bug in England than at this time last year, according to NHS data released today.
An average of 351 adult hospital beds were occupied last week by patients with diarrhea and vomiting or norovirus-like symptoms, NHS England says.
It's nearly three times the average of 126 for the same week in 2022.
Norovirus is the most common infectious cause of vomiting and diarrhea.
It spreads easily through contact with someone who has the virus or with contaminated surfaces.
While most people make a full recovery within two or three days, the virus can lead to dehydration, especially among the very young, the elderly or those with weakened immune systems.
NHS England says an average of 13 children with the virus were in hospital each day last week, compared with an average of three at the same point in 2022.
The new weekly figures also showed that other cases of seasonal flu are impacting the NHS, with an average of 153 flu patients in general and acute hospital beds each day last week, with seven a day in critical care.
Additionally, 131 children were in hospital with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
These numbers, combined with the fact that an average of 46,201 staff per day were off work sick last week, means the NHS is under mounting pressure going into December.
NHS national medical director Sir Stephen Powis said: "We all know somebody who has had some kind of nasty winter virus in the last few weeks, and today's data shows this is starting to trickle through to hospital admissions, with a much higher volume of norovirus cases compared to last year, and the continued impact of infections like flu and RSV in children on hospital capacity - all likely to be exacerbated by this week's cold weather.
"It is clear that even before we enter December the demand on hospitals and staff is high, with more than 1,200 extra patients in hospital compared to last year, and we know that is likely to grow considerably before Christmas.
"So as ever, the public can also play their part by using services in the usual way - by calling 999 in an emergency and using NHS 111 for other health conditions - and by getting their COVID and flu jabs if eligible."

UMD football player Reed Ryan dies at age 22 after cardiac arrest
DULUTH, MN. (Northern News Now) - Heartbreak has struck the UMD community after a football player suddenly passed away.
Senior defensive lineman Reed Ryan, 22, died on Nov. 28, according to UMD.
In a press conference on Nov. 29, UMD head coach Curt Wiese confirmed Ryan had a cardiac arrest on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the school’s weight room.
University officials say he was an excellent student over his academic career.
Ryan was enrolled in the UMD Labovitz School of Business and Economics as a double major in Marketing and Professional Sales.
“Our staff and players are devastated about Reed’s passing,” said UMD head football coach Curt Wiese. “Reed aspired to be better every day at whatever task was at hand. He helped bring out the best in others with his positive attitude, infectious smile, and genuine care for the people around him. We were fortunate to have Reed on our team, and he made our program, our department, and our community a better place in a short period of time. Reed will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on forever. He was the epitome of a UMD Bulldog, and what we can all aspire to be. To his family, thank you for allowing us to be part of his inspiring young life. Reed was a Bulldog through and through.”
The Waunakee, WI native had seven tackles and assisted another for a total of eight tackles in nine games.
Ryan earned one sack against Northern State on Sept. 9 and posted a collegiate career-best three tackles at Minot State on Oct. 21.
He was a part of a Bulldog defensive unit that allowed an NSIC low average of 293.9 yards per game.
“Reed had a positive impact on so many and we are deeply saddened by his passing,” said UMD Director of Athletics Forrest Karr. “Reed was a kind, caring, and thoughtful young man who enjoyed bringing people together. He grew up in my hometown and was beloved by those who knew him in Waunakee, Fargo, Duluth, and beyond. Our thoughts and prayers are with Reed’s family and friends during this time of sorrow. We are grateful for everyone who is supporting Reed’s teammates and our staff members.”
Ryan was a 2019 graduate of Waunakee High School.
He was the recipient of the 2018 Tim Krumrie Award, given annually to the most outstanding high school senior defensive lineman in Wisconsin, and was named the 2018 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year.
Throughout his high school career, Waunakee went 45-2 with a Division 2 State Championship in 2017.
Ryan’s career-high school totals included 147 total tackles, 63 tackles for loss, and 34 sacks.
On top of that he was a four-year starter in wrestling with more than 100 career wins, Ryan earned a state runner-up finish as a senior after he placed fifth at the Division 1 state wrestling meet as a junior.
After high school, Ryan went on to play at NDSU for four years.
There, he was a part of two NCAA Division I AA FCS National Championships (2019, 2021).
