President Trump Releases Statement Following New Hampshire Win, Calls Nikki Haley ‘DELUSIONAL’
Image Credit: DAVID HUME KENNERLY/GETTY IMAGES
Former President Donald Trump secured a decisive victory in the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, reaffirming his position as the party’s frontrunner and setting the stage for a likely showdown with Democratic President Joe Biden in the upcoming November election.
The outcome in New Hampshire represents a significant blow to Haley’s campaign ambitions, who had invested heavily in the state. She emerged as the sole major challenger to Trump following Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s withdrawal from the race.
The results come despite Haley’s intensive efforts to sway New Hampshire’s independent voter base and even Democrats to her side, aiming to challenge Trump’s stronghold on the GOP.
According to MSNBC’s exit poll, New Hampshire shows that a majority of voters in the Republican primary tonight are NOT Republicans, 53% identified as either Independent or Democrat.
WATCH:
“So ridiculous that Democrats and Independents are allowed to vote in the Republican primary, especially since crooked Joe Biden has abandoned New Hampshire—but word is we are doing really well!!!” Trump wrote earlier.
In the wake of the primary results, Trump took to Truth Social to comment on his win.
“Wow! We are doing really well despite all of the Biden Votes going for Haley!!!,” Trump posted.

SHOWDOWN: Texas National Guard Responds to Supreme Court Order by Installing More Razor Wire (VIDEO)
The Texas National Guard on Tuesday responded to the Supreme Court’s order allowing the Biden Regime to cut/remove razor wire installed along the southern border by installing more razor wire.
The US Supreme Court on Monday sided with the Biden Regime and allowed Border Patrol agents to remove razor wire installed on the Texas-Mexico border.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R) previously installed about 30 miles of razor wire at the Texas-Mexico border near Eagle Pass to stop the flood of illegal aliens being let in by the Biden administration.
In October Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the Biden Regime regarding their cutting razor wire at the border.
The lawsuit made its way to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals after a federal judge sided with Biden. The appeals court last month said agents could NOT cut the razor wire.
In a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court granted Biden’s emergency request Monday afternoon.
Conservative justices Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett (Trump appointee) sided with the liberals and granted the Biden Regime’s emergency request.
This is the 9th time that the Supreme Court has sided with the Biden Regime out of 14 emergency applications.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton on Monday evening vowed to defy the Supreme Court’s ruling on razor wire at the southern border.
“The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America. The destruction of Texas’s border barriers will not help enforce the law or keep American citizens safe. This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty.” Ken Paxton said.
The Texas National Guard responded to the Supreme Court’s order to remove razor wire by installing even more.

Head of European Border Security Agency Says “Nothing” Can Stop Aliens from Crossing a Border – Says Politicians Should Show “More Openness to Migrants”
Hans Leijtens, the new head of the European border protection agency Frontex, told the Berliner Zeitung recently that nothing can stop aliens from crossing a border.
Leijtens also called on European political leaders for “more openness towards migrants.”
Hans may not be the right person for this job.
The Egyptian wall with Gaza seems to work pretty well.
Maybe someone should tell Hans Leijtens.Berliner Zeitung reported (translated):
Faster deportations and tougher rules – the federal government is currently in the process of tightening its migration course. The new head of the European border protection agency Frontex, Hans Leijtens, is taking a different path: in an interview with Welt am Sonntag, he advocates for more openness towards migrants. His conclusion, surprising for a border guard: “Nothing can stop people from crossing a border, no wall, no fence, no sea, no river.”
Last year more than a million people applied for asylum in the European Union . Most applications were submitted in Germany. Recently, around half of the applications were rejected due to inadmissible application reasons. The exit rate is currently only 20 percent. This is due, among other things, to the fact that countries of origin refuse entry.
The Frontex boss considers politicians’ choice of words to be “exaggerated”
The European Parliament recently passed a reform of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). Migrants should in future go through asylum procedures directly at the external border, and rejected applicants should be deported immediately. Another problem is securing the external borders. Stricter controls and an increased police presence are necessary to reduce illegal migration.

Mass Layoffs Rock LA Times: Over 100 Staff Cut, Affecting a Quarter of the News Guild Due to Heavy Losses
The Los Angeles Times announced on Tuesday a significant reduction in its workforce, laying off at least 115 employees, which constitutes over 20% of its newsroom.
This decision marks one of the largest workforce reductions in the 142-year history of the newspaper, the company announced.
The decision comes in the wake of consecutive years of considerable financial losses for the LA Times.
Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, the owner of the Los Angeles Times, explained that the cuts were essential.
The paper, he said, could no longer afford to lose $30 million to $40 million annually without making strides in building a larger readership base, crucial for increasing advertising and subscription revenues.
Dr. Soon-Shiong emphasized the need for drastic changes, including appointing new leadership focused on enhancing the newspaper’s journalism to attract more readers.
“Today’s decision is painful for all, but it is imperative that we act urgently and take steps to build a sustainable and thriving paper for the next generation. We are committed to doing so,” said Soon-Shiong.
He also expressed disappointment with the newsroom guild for not collaborating with management to devise a plan that could have saved jobs. Instead, the guild chose to focus on a one-day strike last Friday, which Soon-Shiong remarked, “did not help.”
Matt Pearce, President of the Media Guild of the West and a reporter at the Times, informed guild members that 94 of the positions cut were covered by the guild, a quarter of its members. Pearce described the situation as a “dark day” for the newspaper, with several departments across the newsroom being heavily affected.
Dr. Soon-Shiong also expressed frustration with previous leadership and their efforts, or lack thereof, in expanding the paper’s reach through Los Angeles Times Studios, which aimed to bring the paper’s journalism to a wider audience through documentaries and podcasts.

Canadian Federal Court Deems PM Trudeau’s Usage of Emergencies Act Against Freedom Truckers in 2022 ‘Unreasonable and Unconstitutional’
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is another expert in the art of political survival. Any premier with less of a Globalist pedigree and the same dismal legacy would have been ousted a long time ago.
But lately, Trudeau seems in the worst shape of his whole premiership, and the Canadian Federal Court has just delivered a long-awaited ruling that certainly is not going to make things any easier, as it deems his actions and measures when invoking the Emergencies Act against the Canadian truckers were ‘unreasonable and unconstitutional’.
True North reported:
‘The decision follows an application for judicial review launched by the Canadian Constitution Foundation, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and several other applicants in 2022 after the emergency measures were used to end the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa.
The measures controversially allowed the government to freeze the bank accounts of protesters, conscript tow truck drivers, and arrest people for participating in assemblies the government deemed illegal.”
The decision to issue the Proclamation was ‘unreasonable and beyond the scope of the Emergencies Act’.
Trudeau ‘violated Charter rights’, encroached upon freedom of thought, opinion, and expression, and ‘infringed on the right to security against unreasonable search or seizure’.
“’It is declared that the decision to issue the Proclamation and the association Regulations and Order was unreasonable and ultra vires [beyond the authority of] the Emergencies Act’, the Federal Court ruled.”
In short, the legal threshold to use the law was clearly not met.
“In his ruling Justice Richard Mosley argued emphasized that the Emergencies Act should be viewed as a last resort, deployed only when all other options have been exhausted. He found that the evidence indicated most provinces were capable of managing the situation using existing laws, such as the Criminal Code, as argued by Alberta.”
The government failed to demonstrate the absolute necessity of invoking the Emergencies Act, and the Court emphasized the importance of exhausting other available tools before resorting to this last resort move.

JUST IN: Arizona Democrat Secretary of State Says Voter Registration Error is Switching Republican Registrations to Independent Prior to Closed Primary Election
Another supposed error in Arizona’s upcoming Presidential Preference Election was recently discovered to have flipped voter registrations from Republican or Democrat to Independent or “other” in the statewide voter registration system.
UPDATE: Former Arizona Senate President Ken Bennett told The Gateway Pundit that this error is being made by election workers operating the voter registration system who forget to fill in the party field of a voter registration update. If they don’t fill in the proper field with party preference, voter registration forms will automatically default to “other.”
Arizona’s Presidential Elections have closed primaries, meaning that only registered Republicans or Democrats can vote in their party’s primary.
The Arizona Secretary of State’s office reportedly acknowledged this issue and noted it is “currently impacting all recognized party preference values” in an email to Arizona county recorders. Adrian Fontes, who served as Maricopa County Recorder during the stolen 2020 election, is the current Arizona Secretary of State.
Still, the only example that was provided is for Republican voter registrations. The email reads,
Please, as you action VR Updates make sure your team verifies the correct voter party preference is selected until AVID is updated to account for this unexpected change. For example, when processing an EZ Voter registration the party may be marked as “Other” and “Republican Party” is written in. This example record would need to have the party preference marked as “Republican”.
In a way, this appears to be a push for open primary elections and rank-choice voting, which is already being pursued with a ballot initiative titled “Make Elections Fair Arizona Act.”
Arizona Republicans have opposed this measure, citing “voter disenfranchisement and confusion,” while Democrats have refused to comment on their stance, according to Fox 10.
Fontes, appearing to advocate against political parties restricting their primary elections, previously noted that the current open primary rule for Arizona’s regular primary elections does not apply to Presidential Preference Elections.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Adrian Fontes and Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, the two most prominent election officials in Arizona, also spoke at an event in Phoenix last year to discuss election reform, where they both advocated for ranked-choice voting.
The Republican primary is expected to be more contested than the Democratic primary as liberal megadonors like Reed Hoffman pour massive amounts of money into Nikki Haley’s campaign. It appears that this may help Nikki Haley in Arizona, considering Democrats’ plans to rig the primaries by registering as Republicans to vote against Trump.
After exhausting the scheme to rig the voting machines on election day so that 60% fail on in-person voters, as they did for Republican voters last election, it appears Arizona’s crooked election officials are working on a new way to take Trump out.

Fears Pentagon was 'building killer robots in the basement' sparked stricter AI rules, DoD official claims
Fears the Pentagon has been 'building killer robots in the basement' may have led to stricter AI rules that mandated all systems must be approved before deployment.
The Department of Defense (DoD) recently updated its AI rules among 'a lot of confusion about' how it plans to use self-decision-making machines on the battlefield, according to the deputy assistant defense secretary.
Michael Horowitz explained at an event this month that the 'directive does not prohibit the development of any systems,' but will 'make clear what is and isn't allowed' and uphold a 'commitment to responsible behavior,' as it develops lethal autonomous systems.
While the Pentagon believes the changes should ease the public's minds, some have said they are not 'convinced' by the efforts.
Fears the Pentagon has been 'building killer robots in the basement' may have led to stricter AI rules that mandated all systems must be approved before deployment. Pictured is the MAARS unmanned vehicle unveiled in in 2015.
News of the update to the Pentagon's 2012 'Autonomy in Weapon Systems,' has sparked a debate online with many people saying 'If the Pentagon says they're not doing it, they're doing it.'
Dailymail.com has reached out to the DoD for comment.
The DoD has been aggressively pushing to modernize its arsenal with autonomous drones, tanks, and other weapons that select and attack a target without human intervention.
Mark Brakel, director of the advocacy organization Future of Life Institute (FLI), told DailyMail.com: 'These weapons carry a massive risk of unintended escalation.'
He explained that AI-powered weapons could misinterpret something, like a ray of sunlight, and perceive it as a threat, thus attacking foreign powers without cause.
Brakel said the result could be devastating because 'without meaningful human control, AI-powered weapons are like the Norwegian rocket incident [a near nuclear armageddon] on steroids and they could increase the risk of accidents in hotspots such as the Taiwan Strait.'
The Department of Defense (DoD) recently updated its AI rules among 'a lot of confusion about' how it plans to use self-decision-making machines on the battlefield.
The DoD has encouraged global measures to monitor AI weapons by calling on other countries to endorse the Political Declaration on Responsible Military Use of Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy, and as of November, 47 countries endorsed the initiative.
Horowitz said during a January 9 panel that the DoD is laser-focused when it comes to building the public's trust and confidence in the technology and that the department is committed to adhering to international humanitarian law.
'The real test of any new directive should be in how many weapons it rules out or significantly modifies,' Brakel said.
'We have yet to see any evidence that changes in the directive have a meaningful impact on how weapons are developed.'
Autonomous military systems are not only being developed by the US, as China and Russia have their own AI-powered arsenals that are currently being used in two wars.
The Pentagon announced in November that it would unleash thousands of AI-enabled autonomous vehicles by 2026 to keep up with America's adversaries.
Humanitarian groups worry that the AI-powered weapons could fall into the wrong hands or unintentionally spark a war by mistaking something like sunlight for an attack.
The ambitious initiative — dubbed Replicator — seeks to 'galvanize progress in the too-slow shift of U.S. military innovation to leverage platforms that are small, smart, cheap, and many,' Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks said in August.
'Replicator itself is about a process,' Mr. Horowitz said this month. 'It's about figuring out how ... we can field at speed and scale key capabilities that we view as important given the national defense strategy.'
Horowitz also said that the DoD is laser-focused when it comes to building the public's trust and confidence in the technology and that the department is committed to adhering to international humanitarian law.
However, other members of FLI are not sold on the stricter rules and how the Pentagon will see them through.
Anna Hehir, who leads autonomous weapons system research for FLI, told The Hill: 'It's really a Pandora's box that we're starting to see open, and it will be very hard to go back.
' I would argue for the Pentagon to view the use of AI in military use as on par with the start of the nuclear era,' she added.
'So this is a novel technology that we don't understand. And if we view this in an arms raceway, which is what the Pentagon is doing, then we can head to global catastrophe.'

Mexico Says US Army Weapons Being Smuggled Across Border
Mexico said Monday that US military weapons had been detected entering the Latin American nation, which blames firearms trafficking from its northern neighbor for fueling drug cartel-related violence.
The Mexican defense ministry has alerted Washington about inflows of arms that are supposed to be "for the exclusive use of the US army," Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena said at a news conference.
"It's very urgent that an investigation be carried out," she added, without give more details.
The arms smuggling was one of the issues discussed by the two countries in Washington on Friday during a visit by Barcena and other senior Mexican officials, she said.
Mexico has long pointed the finger at the United States and its lax gun laws for the flow of weapons to its cartels, which in turn are often funded by selling drugs to US consumers.
The Mexican government has filed two lawsuits in US courts against the firearms industry.
The US ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, told reporters on Monday that reducing weapon flows from the United States to Mexico was a priority for President Joe Biden.
"We know that 70 percent of the weapons that cause violence here in Mexico come from the United States," he said.
More than half a million weapons are trafficked into Mexico from the United States annually, according to authorities in the Latin American nation.
Mexico tightly controls weapons sales, making them practically impossible to obtain legally, but drug-related violence involving firearms remains widespread.
There have been more than 420,000 murders since 2006 when the Mexican government deployed the military to fight drug trafficking, most of them blamed on criminal gangs.
