Prosecutors Drop Felony Charges Against Sidney Powell in Plea Deal Including $6000 Fine and ‘Apology Letter’.
Lawyer Sidney Powell has agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges in Georgia related to efforts to resolve the 2020 election. Powell was charged with violating the state’s anti-racketeering law alongside Trump and 17 others, and entered the plea one day before jury selection was set to begin. Initially charged with racketeering and six other counts, prosecutors allege that Powell participated in an unauthorized breach of election equipment in a rural Georgia county elections office.
The deal marks a significant shift for prosecutors and Powell together, however.
While prosecutors maintain Powell conspired with others to gain unauthorized access to election equipment, she was sentenced to six years of probation, which the New York Times accepts is “a significantly less-severe outcome than she would have faced if found guilty of the charges for which she was originally indicted”.
Powell was fined $6,000 and agreed to pay $2,700 restitution to the State of Georgia, as well as write an apology letter “to the citizens of the state of Georgia.”

WAR GAMES US prepares for major attack on DC by cruise missile and hijacked jet in chilling test of new ‘Battle Command’ system
THE US army tested out it's new 'Battle Command' system by simulating a major attack on Washington DC.
Soldiers testing a new command center rehearsed a terrifying coordinated strike by cruise missile and hijacked jet.
Using the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) to track the incoming 'projectiles' heading for the White House, the army intercepted the weapons before disaster struck.
A video showed how a variety of sensors communicate any detected threats and quickly respond.
During demonstrations, Army and Air Force sensors combined to create a new "network" which quickly identified the target and eliminated it.
Tech involved in the defense system includes the Sentinel radar, the Avenger rocket launcher, the Patriot battery system and the National Advanced Surface-to-Air-Missile system.
All together, the complex kit helped run a successful test of the new IBCS - described as the centerpiece of the US Army's modernization strategy for air and missile defense.
Defense company Northrop Grumman explained how the IBCS defended Washington DC in the series of recent realistic drills.
They said: "IBCS defended the National Capital Region against simulated cruise missile and compromised aircraft in a series of recent demonstrations, an evolution of technical capabilities for the system."
Rebecca Torzone, vice president and general manager of combat systems and mission readiness for Northrop Grumman, said IBCS has continuously shown its abilities.
She said: "Through the recent National Capital Region demonstrations, IBCS proved its capabilities in providing homeland defense against cruise missiles and other aerial threats."
Brigadier General Frank Lozano, Program Executive Officer of Missiles and Space, said earlier this year: "The Army is proving it can and will succeed with its modernization plans as we continue to build momentum for the future.
"The success of this program is a testament to the incredible talent and capability of the soldiers, civilians and industry partners whose work ensures the safety and security of our nation."
Current technology used by the United States is able to track and identify a threat quickly.
But the IBCS uses multiple sensors and weapons systems to decide which are best to take out the target.
The successful test run of IBCS comes as Biden is flexing America's impressive arsenal ahead of his visit to Israel.
American military is increasing its firepower in the Middle East as it looks to prevent Iran and other Iran-backed groups from getting involved in the conflict.
The US empire of steel includes a network of bases in the Middle East with 2,000 troops, 2,400 Marines, and 13 warships now on alert.
A few A-10 Warthog and F-15Es attack planes arrived in the region last week, with more advanced military aircraft expected to join.
The Pentagon is also rushing air defenses and munitions to Israel, as well as an aircraft carrier monster fleet to the eastern Mediterranean, Reuters reports.

Putin calls US supply of ATACMS weapons to Ukraine ‘another mistake’

Vladimir Putin has called the US delivery of long-range tactical ballistic missiles to Kyiv “another mistake by the United States” in his first public comments since an unprecedented Ukrainian strike destroyed helicopters at two airfields in Russian-occupied territory this week.
The Russian president also claimed that the delivery of the army tactical missile system (ATACMS) missiles, which can strike targets more than 100 miles away and deliver salvoes with cluster munitions, would “not do Ukraine any good either. It will simply prolong [their] agony.”
Yet the missiles have struck one of the worst blows against Russian aviation since Putin launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, despite warnings from military experts and bloggers that Russia’s forward military bases could be at risk from newly provided American weapons. The strikes could force Russia to pull back its attack aircraft from the frontlines of the conflict.
“War is war,” Putin said on Wednesday. “And, of course, I have said that [ATACMS] pose a threat. It goes without saying. But what counts most is that they are completely unable to drastically change the situation along the line of contact. It’s impossible.”
Russia had earlier warned the US away from providing the ATACMS missiles, which Ukraine and the US both confirmed this week had recently been delivered to Kyiv. Ukraine used the missiles to strike airbases in Russian-held Berdiansk and the Luhansk region on Monday evening.

Jordanian police clash with protesters near Israeli embassy
AMMAN, Oct 18 (Reuters) - Jordanian police on Wednesday said several anti-riot police were injured during clashes that broke out with rioting protesters near the Israeli embassy, who were torching property.
The authorities had earlier deployed riot police to disperse thousands of demonstrators planning to march on the heavily fortified Israeli embassy to protest against Israel's military assault against Gaza.
The Israeli embassy, where protesters gather daily, has long been a flashpoint of anti-Israel protests at times of turmoil in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Late on Tuesday, dozens of youths attempted to storm the heavily-guarded compound but security forces used tear gas to disperse them. Several protesters were arrested.
Anti-Israel demonstrations have also been spreading across the country with some slamming perceived inaction by authorities, saying their compatriots in Gaza were being left to face Israel's military might alone.
Jordan's peace treaty with Israel is widely unpopular among many citizens who see normalization as betraying the rights of their Palestinian compatriots.
Amman, which lost the West Bank including East Jerusalem to Israel during the 1967 war, is worried widening violence in the region could have repercussions with a large percentage of Jordan's population made up of Palestinians.
Authorities have deployed heavy security near the border to bar activists from holding protests.

Germany and UK make Russian energy promise
Berlin and London are not planning to restore trade ties with Moscow even after the Ukraine conflict ends and President Vladimir Putin leaves office, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday citing German and British officials.
“This is a relationship that has come to an end,” Miguel Berger, Germany’s ambassador to the UK, stated at the Energy Intelligence Forum in London. “There will be no return,” UK Minister for Energy and Net Zero Graham Stuart confirmed.
Western European countries slashed energy imports from Russia, their former top fuel supplier, over the Ukraine conflict last year and imposed embargoes on Russian coal and oil.
Natural gas supplies from Russia also shrank dramatically following Western sanctions and the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines. In terms of direct purchases, currently Moscow is covering less than 10% of the continent’s energy needs. In 2021, Russian gas accounted for about 45% of EU purchases and nearly 40% of its consumption of the fuel.
While for the UK the loss may not be huge, as it was importing only about 4% of its gas and 9% of its crude oil from Russia in 2021, for Germany the loss of Russian gas has resulted in a major energy crisis. Western sanctions have deprived the EU’s largest and most industrialized economy of about half its gas supplies.
“The situation is very challenging,” Berger admitted. Gas prices will remain higher, creating “constant pressure for Germany and its industry.”
Imports of pipeline gas from Russia have been mostly halted, but EU countries have continued to buy record volumes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the sanctioned country this year, despite the bloc’s pledge to stop consuming Russian energy.
Spain, France and Belgium were among the countries that boosted purchases of the super-chilled fuel from Russia, which has so far gone unsanctioned despite repeated calls to turn off the tap from a number of EU officials.
The EU has also boosted imports of petroleum products from India, which is now one of Russia's biggest oil buyers. This has raised concerns in the EU that the bloc is still dependent on Russian crude supplies, which continue to arrive refined from third countries.

BREAKING: Two Separate Attacks On U.S. Bases In Syria Are Being Reported Following Missile and Drone Attack By Iranian-Backed Terror Group
Only moments ago, the Gateway Pundit reported on 2-3 missiles that were fired from Iranian-backed terror group Houthis in Yemen. The USS Carney, a U.S. Navy destroyer on the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea, intercepted the missiles.
According to Open Source Intelligence Monitor – Pentagon Press Secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder has Confirmed that the USS Carney did Shoot Down 3 Land-Attack Cruise Missiles as well as several Drones launched by Houthi Forces in Yemen last night over the Red Sea.
Open Source Intelligence Monitor claims that Pentagon Press Secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder has stated that the Iran-backed Houthi’s Target is currently unknown but they are believed to have possibly been heading for Israel.
The Houthis, took over the Yemeni capital Sanaa in September 2014 and seized control over much of north Yemen by 2016. Yemeni officials and Sunni states have repeatedly alleged that Iran and its proxy Hezbollah have provided arms, training, and financial support to the Houthis. But Iranian and Hezbollah officials have denied or downplayed the claims. The United States, in coordination with Saudi Arabia, has presented physical evidence of Iranian arms transfers to the group.

‘No reason to dispute’ Canada’s allegations against India – Australia’s intel chief
The head of Australia’s national intelligence agency has said that the Canadian government’s claims of possessing evidence of India’s involvement in the killing of a Sikh separatist leader near Vancouver this past June are credible – even without Ottawa providing any evidence to back up its accusations, which are denied by New Delhi.
The director of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO), Mike Burgess, told ABC News that he had “no reason to dispute what the Canadian government has said in this matter.”
“There’s no doubt any allegation of any country being accused of carrying out an execution of a citizen in that country, it’s a serious allegation, and something that we don’t do and something that nations should not do,” he said.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed while speaking in parliament in September that his government had “credible intelligence” linking the death of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, an outspoken leader advocating for the creation of a separate Sikh homeland to be carved out of India, to “agents of the Indian government.” Nijjar was designated as a terrorist by India, which had offered a reward for information leading to his arrest.
While New Delhi has dismissed the allegations as “absurd,” Trudeau’s statements sparked a diplomatic crisis between the two countries, with senior diplomats expelled and India having stopped issuing visas to Canadians.
Burgess was speaking on the sidelines of a meeting of the Five Eyes intelligence grouping, which comprises the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Trudeau made his allegation against India based on intelligence shared by Canada’s partners in the Five Eyes, public broadcaster Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reported in September, adding that the Canadian government had amassed “both human and signals intelligence which includes communications involving Indian officials themselves, including Indian diplomats present in Canada.” The New York Times has reported that US agencies provided their Canadian counterparts with certain context that helped the latter draw their conclusion of Indian involvement.
US Ambassador to Canada David Cohen said it was the “shared intelligence among Five Eye partners” that prompted Trudeau to go public with his allegations.
Ottawa, however, hasn't shared any evidence supporting its claims, despite New Delhi repeatedly asking it to do so and stating that it would be willing to look into the matter. “We are willing to look at any specific information that is provided to us, but so far we have received no specific information from Canada,” India’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said days after the allegations were made.
According to an ABC report, Burgess was briefed on the matter before last month’s G20 summit in New Delhi, where Trudeau first raised his concerns with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Upon being asked whether a similar incident could happen in Australia, which is home to nearly 210,000 Sikhs, Burgess said, “I can assure you that when we find governments interfering in our country, or planning to interfere in our country, we will deal with them effectively.”
In June, tensions flared in Australia among the Sikh and Hindu communities over an unofficial referendum designed to build political support for an independent Sikh state in India, to be named Khalistan. Although there can be “communal violence” or “spontaneous violence” in a country, Burgess said, that is not the same as a nation-state seeking to “interfere and covertly or deceptively harm and intimidate people.”

Macron holds talks with France’s last Sahel ally
The transitional leader of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Deby, also known as Mahamat Kaka, has paid a working visit to Paris, where he held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, which focused on strengthening bilateral ties, the African country announced.
Discussions between the two leaders during the visit on Tuesday lasted more than an hour and addressed matters of mutual concern for both nations in “Africa, Europe and the world,” the Chadian presidency said in a statement.
“The two Heads of State underlined the importance of socio-economic stability for the prosperity of peoples, calling for strengthened cooperation to meet common challenges. They pledged to work together to promote peace, stability and socio-economic development,” it added.
Mahamat Kaka took over as Chad’s leader after his pro-French father, Idriss Deby, was killed by rebels on the battlefield in 2021. The interim president initially promised to hold elections within 18 months, but the deadline was later extended by two years to October 2024, sparking protests that killed dozens of civilians.
During the meeting on Tuesday with Macron, the Chadian leader said he remains committed to fulfilling all the obligations of the transition. He additionally “requested continued and substantial support from France as the transition begins its final turn,” the government said.
Chad has become the last remaining ally of Paris in the Sahel region, with Niger claiming last week that French troops withdrawing from Niamey were being transferred there. Paris already has a base in the country with around 1,000 troops.
The Chadian authorities have hailed France as a “long-standing” and “reliable” partner with whom they have a mutually beneficial bilateral agreement, despite the growing number of protests against French presence in N’Djamena.
Evariste N’Garlem Tolde, a Chadian political analyst, told RT earlier this month that the French army has failed in fighting jihadist insurgencies, instead fueling terrorist activity in the country.

O’Keefe Media Group: School District in New Jersey Socially Transitioning Students Behind Parent’s Backs (VIDEO)
O’Keefe Media Group this week obtained emails revealing Kingsway Regional School District in Kingsway, New Jersey “has adopted a “tiered” policy for classifying students who want to transition without their parent’s knowledge.”
“I had one of my students reach out to me about their preferred name for next year. Do we know how we can input their name into Genesis without it being visible by families?” states an email from School counselor Fallon Corcoran to counselor Michael Schiff, referencing Genesis, a student database.
Per O’Keefe Media Group:
A source within the school recorded Fallon stating, “I am not calling home… everything we talk about stays between us.”
According to emails obtained to OMG, Kingsway Regional has developed a tiered ranking system to classify students. Students in the second tier are allowed to use the gender and name of their choice, and that information is kept from parents.
In one email we obtained, a teacher or school counselor writes that they “heard from [redacted] student over the summer with questions about sharing her preferred name and pronouns with teachers but does not want her family to be aware.”
We reached out to Kingsway Regional Superintendent James Lavender, who said the policy was handed down to the district by the New Jersey department of education.
WATCH:
Kingsway Regional School District Superintendent, James Lavender, responded on the phone to James O’Keefe regarding audio and emails showing Kingsway school counselors hiding critical information from parents.
