“We are aware of the cybersecurity issue and are in regular contact with key financial sector participants, in addition to federal regulators. We continue to monitor the situation,” a Treasury department spokesperson said, according to the Financial Times.
“Industrial & Commercial Bank of China told some of its brokerage clients to reroute their trades after a cybersecurity issue at its systems prevented it from clearing swathes of the transactions,” Bloomberg Asia noted.
The U.S. Treasury Department is aware of a cybersecurity issue at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China that has affected the Treasury market, and is in regular contact with key financial sector participants and regulators, a spokesperson said on Thursday.
The Treasury issued the statement following a Financial Times report that a ransomware attack at ICBC had “disrupted” the US Treasury market by preventing the bank from settling Treasury trades on behalf of other market participants.
A former leader of Spain’s main right-wing political party in Catalonia who went on to co-found the far-right Vox party was shot in the head in Madrid on Thursday, a police source said.
Alejo Vidal-Quadras “was shot in the head around 1:30 pm (1130 GMT) on Nunez de Balboa Street in Madrid,” the source said.
“He was conscious and taken to hospital,” the source said adding that the National Police homicide unit was leading the investigation.
Emergency services in the Spanish capital said on X, formerly Twitter, that they were working to “stabilise a 78-year-old male injured with a firearm… in the area of his jaw”.
Vidal-Quadras was leader of the conservative PP party in the Catalonia region in the 1990s. He went on to be an MEP and then was among the founders of the far-right Vox party which he left shortly after its creation.
Last night’s NBC News Republican Presidential Primary debate averaged 6.86 million viewers total, according to Puck News’s Dylan Byers.
This is almost exactly half the audience the first GOP event drew, on Fox News. That initial show drew 13 million viewers, which was still lower than hope. The number is also down on the second, Fox Business, debate which drew just 9.3 million viewers.
Byers also observed the “Debate did 1.3 million in the 25-54 year-old demo…. lower than the demo audience for Country Music Awards on ABC.”
The residents of a small Michigan town voted out their entire local government in a recall election due to concerns about a Chinese-linked electric battery plant.
“Green Charter Township’s five board members were removed,” according to the Daily Mail.
The rural town’s five incumbent Republican board members were ousted in favor of candidates with no party affiliation.
Town residents strongly disapprove the board’s decision to “greenlight the construction of a Chinese-connected electric vehicle battery plant in their community,” NewsNation noted.
After the vote, Green Charter Township’s new leaders changed the locks on the main government building.
The project was expected to create more than 2,300 jobs as part of a $2.34 billion investment.
Despite the backlash from residents, the board moved forward with the Chinese-affiliated project.
“My family members fought communism, and you’re bringing it right here,” a local resident said last year.
When NewsNation visited the town in April, a resident named Corri Riebow who had no experience in politics said, “I don’t know (why they would approve it), other than somebody must be benefitting from it.”
Riebow then ran for clerk and won last night. “We just plan on making it as difficult as we possible for them to continue their process. They don’t even have a sight planned, they don’t have permits yet, so, we’re not their friend,” Riebow said of how the new government is going to handle Gotion, the company behind the plant.

The community of just 3,219 residents leans Republican, and the surrounding county voted in favor of Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election by a margin of 22 percentage points.
The petition that launched the recall election accused town officials of ignoring voter concerns over China-linked company Gotion’s plan to open a $2.3 billion EV plant there, which is expected to create 2,350 jobs.
Although it is backed by Volkswagen with operations in Germany, Gotion’s parent company is based in China, and has been accused of having links to the country’s Communist Party.
On Wednesday, NewsNation’s Entin reported live from the town’s empty government building, after the incumbents hastily packed up their belongings.
‘This is something Americans all across the country almost fantasize about, booting out their local government if they don’t like them and they’re not getting the job done,’ he told host Elizabeth Vargas on Elizabeth Vargas Reports.
In ousting Green Charter’s town board, voters in the community also sent a message to President Joe Biden, who has touted EV plants and other clean energy projects as key to his economic growth plans.
China is a leader in the global supply chain for advanced batteries and other green technology, raising thorny questions about what kind of impact partnerships in that arena will have on US interests.
Gotion’s plans for the Michigan plant, and another in Illinois, have drawn scrutiny from congressional Republicans, who urged the Treasury Department to conduct a security review over Gotion’s purported ties to China’s Communist Party.
Kyiv said on Thursday queues were growing at its border with Poland, where Polish truckers blocked crossings for a fourth day over what they see as unfair competition from Ukrainian firms.
The protest by Polish transport companies is the latest in a series of economic clashes between the neighbours, who are traditionally close allies but have seen relations suffer in recent months.
“Traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border has remained complicated (for lorries) since November 6 in three directions,” Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for Ukraine’s border service said.
Kyiv estimated that around 1,700 trucks were in queues waiting to enter Ukraine.
Poland’s border service had published on its website estimates of the wait time at entry points into Ukraine.
It estimated that crossing by freight lorry at the Hrebenne checkpoint would take “150 hours”, while the wait at the border at Medyka, further south, would take “55 hours”.
The Polish protesters want entry permits to be reinstated for their Ukrainian rivals.
The European Union waived permits for Ukrainian transport companies entering the 27-nation bloc, of which Poland is a member, after Russia invaded Ukraine last year.
Kyiv has said the Polish truckers’ blockade harms the interests of both countries, and that it has not received any official demands from Polish transport companies.
“It is wrong to close the border with Ukraine during the war,” Oleksandr, a 36-year-old trucker who had been queing for two days at the Rava Ruska crossing, told AFP. He declined to give his surname.
Warsaw has been Kyiv’s staunchest backer against Russia since Moscow’s invasion in February 2022.
But relations between the neighbours took a downward turn during Poland’s general election this autumn, when its governing nationalist party became embroiled in several rows with Kyiv.
Ukrainian warmonger, Volodymyr Zelenksy claims that Ukraine has a “plan” to defeat Russia and show progress on the battlefield by the end of this year. Ukraine’s “strategy” will yield victories shortly, claims the ruler.
“We have a plan. We have very concrete cities, very [concrete] directions where we go. I can’t share all the details but we have some slow steps forward on the south, also we have steps on the east,” Zelensky stated on Wednesday as he appeared at the Reuters NEXT conference via a video link.
Zelensky promised certain “good steps near Kherson Region,” without elaborating further. Ukrainian forces have a plan for next year, but will “try” to show “battlefield results” by the end of 2023, Zelensky insisted, without indicating which cities he plans to have victories over. “I am sure we’ll have success. It’s difficult,” he added.
Zelensky’s remarks contrasted with the assessment given by his top general, Valery Zaluzhny, in an interview with The Economist published last week. The top military commander claimed the conflict between Moscow and Kiev had reached a WWI-style stalemate, with Russia having better chances given its far larger population and vast resources. This may “drag on for years” and “wear down” the country, with a “deep and beautiful breakthrough” unlikely, he warned. –RT
Zelensky has admitted in the past that he has been making slow progress in this war.
The botched counteroffensive has resulted in little to no territorial gains for the Ukrainian military, which sustained heavy personnel and material losses. According to Russian estimates, Kiev lost more than 90,000 soldiers in the push, with hundreds of military hardware pieces – including assorted Western-supplied vehicles – damaged and destroyed.
For all intents and purposes, it looks as though Zelensky is trying to stay relevant as another was is taking the attention away from him and his ability to acquire more military aid from the West.
The United States has just ratcheted up the war by striking an Iran-linked facility in Syria. This is a retaliatory attack by the U.S. for drone and rocket attacks on U.S. forces that have continued in recent weeks.
This is the second time in as many weeks that the U.S. has carried out what it’s calling retaliatory attacks against Iran. These airstrikes were against a facility used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and its proxies in eastern Syria and took place early Thursday. This is an obvious ratcheting up retaliation for a steady stream of rocket and drone attacks against American forces in Iraq and Syria, according to a report by The New York Times.
There have been at least 22 more strikes since the American retaliatory strikes last month. Rulers at the Pentagon said they have become more dangerous. Iran-backed militias have packed even larger loads of explosives, more than 80 pounds, onto drones launched at American bases, U.S. officials said.
“This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by I.R.G.C.-Quds Force affiliates,” Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III said in a statement. “The president has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests. The United States is fully prepared to take further necessary measures to protect our people and our facilities. We urge against any escalation,” he added as he escalated the conflict.
“The attacks, the threats coming from militia that are aligned with Iran, are totally unacceptable,” Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken said in Iraq on Sunday. The ruling class in the U.S. says it’s trying to deter attacks on its troops occupying parts of the Middle East while not escalating the conflict.
I am no military expert, but I am certain that attacking Iran is definitely going to escalate the war no matter how it is done. War is war and attacks are attacks. The U.S. is obviously desperately trying to spread this war no matter what the rulers say.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has repeatedly pledged to destroy Israel and repel U.S. military forces from the region, and the leaders of militant groups in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Gaza view Mr. Khamenei as a powerful ally, often seeking his advice and consulting with him on strategic issues. -The New York Times
The US, true to its modus operandi of instigating “color revolutions” and interfering in the domestic affairs of other countries, could be in the initial stages of preparing a Ukraine-style coup in Mongolia, Russian officials believe.
“The situation in Mongolia is very difficult in terms of the fact that all this hypocritical US policy, which it is pursuing where it needs to realize its interests in any way, is now being transferred to Mongolia,” said Alexey Tsydenov, the head of Russia's Republic of Buryatia, which is located along the eastern side of Lake Baikal and borders Mongolia, in an interview with RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September.
According to him, Acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, who played a key part in the US-backed Euromaidan coup in Ukraine in 2014, is now trying to indoctrinate the Mongolian people and "shake up the youth." He is confident, however, that the Americans will not succeed.
“I believe that in Mongolia the leadership understands everything, and the people and youth are literate and understand when they are simply [being] used and manipulated. I hope they will have enough strength to resist this in order to remain an independent state, and not become a puppet in the hands of the United States,” said the head of the republic.
Mongolia’s geographic and political position makes it a country which could potentially become a springboard for a large-scale geopolitical clash. In this country, not only do the interests of its two friendly neighbors – Russia and China – intersect, but also those of the US, which is seeking to limit the influence of Moscow and Beijing in order to pursue its own geopolitical agenda.
There is no limit to where the US is prepared to interfere, if not outright invade, under the pretext of a struggle for “democracy.” However, Russia, China and other developing countries are standing up to Washington in the ongoing emergence of a multipolar world order, and are unwilling to see the US as the universal hegemon anymore. Still, the White House persists in its behavior, claiming to know better what’s in the best interest of other countries – while in reality, it simply ignores their interests.
"It is no secret that the same US organizations that have been investing in Ukraine since 2014 are operating in Mongolia. Therefore, their goals are clear… Russia and China are Mongolia’s partners, but the US isn’t giving up trying to turn it against us,” said Sholban Kara-ool, vice-speaker of the State Duma, the lower chamber of the Russian parliament. Kara-ool's constituency is the Republic of Tuva, which also borders Mongolia. On his Telegram channel, he wrote that the US embassy and non-government organizations have been very active in Mongolia, sharing observations made during his recent visit to the country. He did not, however, name any specific organizations involved.
US involvement in Mongolia's domestic affairs is evident in several ways. For instance, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced on April 18, 2023 the launch of its five-year (2023-2028) Mongolia Strategic Framework. “The strategy focuses on supporting Mongolia’s efforts to strengthen democratic institutions, enhance national sovereignty, and diversify its economy,” the US embassy summarizes.
USAID is Washington’s primary distributor of civilian foreign aid, and while some of its operations are straightforward relief efforts, Washington also uses it as a soft-power tool to promote its political agenda and prop-up opposition to existing governments the US finds disagreeable. An apt description of USAID was given by American presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who called it “a CIA cutout.”
In the case of Mongolia, USAID is clearly promoting anti-Chinese and anti-Russian sentiments. For example, on the official website of this organization it is said that "the influence of Mongolia’s authoritarian neighbors, coupled with relatively new democratic institutions, threaten the country’s democratic future."
On August 2, 2023 US Vice President Kamala Harris and Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene met in Washington, DC, to strengthen the strategic partnership between the US and Mongolia. As part of the visit, the United States announced new funds from USAID to further expand US development activities in Mongolia, valued at up to $25 million over the next five years.
“Maidan midwife” Victoria Nuland’s association with Mongolia dates back to 1988, when she helped open the US embassy there. She resurfaced in the country with a visit in April this year, raising questions about the US' intentions regarding the country. Her visits and seemingly symbolic photo sessions in the central square of Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbaatar, 35 years apart, suggest that the country holds a key place in her strategic interests. It can be inferred that she may attempt to replicate the Ukraine scenario in Mongolia.
Israeli authorities demanded an explanation from several major Western outlets on Thursday, after an NGO accused six Palestinian photographers who documented the October 7 attack of being accomplices of Hamas.
The head of the Israeli Government Press Office, Nitzan Chen, asked AP, Reuters, CNN, and the New York Times to address the “involvement of their photographers in the events of October 7th, which crosses every professional and moral red line.”
Chen cited the research by the pro-Israeli outfit Honest Reporting, published on Wednesday, which identified six Palestinian photojournalists who “filmed the murder of civilians, the abuse of bodies and the abduction of men and women” after Hamas struck out from Gaza at nearby Israeli settlements and outposts.
According to Honest Reporting, the presence of these photographers alongside the Hamas militants as they breached the border “raises serious ethical questions,” insinuating that the men were somehow in on the group’s plans for the surprise attack. If the four outlets had people on the ground who “actively or passively collaborated with Hamas to get the shots, they should be called out to redefine the border between journalism and barbarism,” Honest Reporting said.
The group zeroed in on Hassan Eslaiah, who has worked as a freelancer for AP and CNN. They posted a video of Eslaiah – without any signs he was a journalist – filming a burning Israeli tank, and a photo of him with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, taken in 2020.
Honest Reporting also pointed to three more AP stringers – including the one who photographed German-Israeli concert-goer Shani Louk in a Hamas pick-up truck – as well as two Reuters photojournalists “who also happened to be at the border just in time for Hamas’ infiltration,” one of whom “took photos of a lynch mob brutalizing the body of an Israeli soldier who was dragged out of the tank.”
Israel considers the photographers participants in the October 7 attack and they will be added to the list of those to be “eliminated,”according to Danny Danon, former Israeli ambassador to the UN and a member of parliament from the ruling Likud party.
Reuters “categorically” denied having prior knowledge of the Hamas attack or embedding journalists with the group. The agency said it bought photos from two Gaza-based reporters “with whom it did not have a prior relationship.”
CNN responded to the Israeli inquiry by firing Eslaiah. “While we have not at this time found reason to doubt the journalistic accuracy of the work he has done for us, we have decided to suspend all ties with him,” the US outlet said in a statement to Ynet.
“The Associated Press had no knowledge of the Oct. 7 attacks before they happened,” the agency said, adding that Eslaiah “has been an occasional freelancer for AP and other news organizations” and that the agency’s job is to cover breaking news events “even when those events are horrific and cause mass casualties.”
The New York Times called“untrue and outrageous” the accusation that anyone at the outlet had advanced knowledge of the Hamas attack, or accompanied “Hamas terrorists,” adding that such claims are “reckless” and put their journalists in Israel and Gaza at risk.
Yousef Masoud, the Gaza freelancer named by Honest Reporting, “was not working for The Times on the day of the attack” but has “done important work for us” since, the outlet said, insisting there was “no evidence” for Israeli insinuations.
The Times also said it was “gravely concerned that unsupported accusations and threats to freelancers endangers them and undermines work that serves the public interest.” Freelance photojournalists working in conflict areas often “rush into danger to provide first-hand witness accounts and to document important news,” which is the “essential role of a free press in wartime,” the US newspaper of record added.
Authorities are investigating after election offices in Georgia and Washington state received letters that contained fentanyl on Tuesday's election night.
Law enforcement said that four county election offices in Washington state were evacuated on Wednesday after white powdery substances were found in envelopes at the state's election centers in King, Pierce, Skagit, and Spokane counties. The substances tested positive for fentanyl in King and Spokane, while in at least one other case the substance was baking soda, according to Komo 4 News.
Washington Secretary of State Steve Hobbs said the incidents are "acts of terrorism to threaten our elections."
Authorities say they are currently in the process of trying to intercept a letter sent from Washington state to an election center in Georgia, saying they are hoping to prevent it from landing in the hands of a person.
During a press brief on Thursday, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said that a letter sent to a Fulton County election office on election night tested positive for fentanyl. Narcan has been distributed to election workers in Georgia as a precaution.
"We became aware of the situation that there was actually still an envelope that was still in the mail that was traveling toward Fulton County," Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Georgia's 159 counties received notices alerting election officials to the situation and advising them to use caution when handling mail.
Raffensperger, who lost his son to a fentanyl overdose five years ago, warned about the deadly effect that can occur if a person were to come into contact with the drug.
"Election officials should be free from fear and intimidation, which is why I've called on the General Assembly to increase penalties for election interference," Raffensperger said. "We will work tirelessly to ensure that Georgia elections remain free, fair, and secure."
The Post Millennial obtained an exclusive copy of the letter sent to the Pierce County election office in Tacoma, Washington that featured an anarchist message and symbols of Antifa, the trans pride progress flag, and the occult.
"End elections now. Stop giving power to the right that they don't have. We are in charge now and there is no more need for them. Also be aware your ballot drops are very susceptible to noxious chemicals like AM/BL. They are unsafe to the public. Just saying," read a letter that appears to have been sent from Portland, Oregon.
Authorities have not confirmed if the letters sent to the other election centers were similar.
A spokesperson for the US Department of Justice told Komo News that the FBI and US Postal Inspection Service are investigating.
The FBI said in a statement to The Post Millennial: "Per long-standing FBI policy, we will not be confirming or commenting on investigations until such time it reaches the public realm."
"For your reference, the FBI can never open an investigation based solely on protected First Amendment activity. We cannot and do not investigate ideology. We focus on individuals who commit or intend to commit violence and criminal activity that constitutes a federal crime. The FBI will investigate when someone crosses the line from expressing their views to breaking federal laws and engaging in violence."
Pressed into pills or mixed with other narcotics, fentanyl is an opioid that can be 50 times more potent than the same quantity of heroin, and it's causing the deadliest overdose catastrophe the United States has ever seen, mostly in Democrat-run cities along the West Coast such as Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco.

Two environmentalists were shot dead by an enraged motorist as they blocked a road in the country of Panama to protest a mining company’s deal with the government there.
The motorist was infuriated after the protesters stopped traffic by standing in the middle of the road in the town of La Espig, Panama, on Tuesday, the U.K.’s Daily Mail reported.
The tactic of blocking traffic has been used by radical environmentalists around the world, and it is beginning to see pushback from furious drivers who can’t get where they are going because of the disruption.
TVN Noticias in Panama said authorities arrested Kenneth Darlington, 77, and charged him with aggravated homicide against both people as well as illegal possession of firearms.
According to the Daily Mail, Darlington was born in Panama but also has U.S. citizenship.
The suspect, a retired professor who lives in the exclusive Paitilla district of Panama City, got stuck in the traffic when protesters put logs across a road and sat down in the street in protest.
Officials said the video showed Darlington trying to clear the road, arguing with the demonstrators and demanding to talk to their leaders. Eventually, three men approached him and started to talk to him.
Someone yelled, “Why don’t you shoot?” Darlington took them up on the taunt, according to police.
In Kentucky, a woman faces two counts of murder for allegedly shooting her two children, aged 6 and 9, to death in their home on Wednesday.
Deputies answering a shooting report at Tiffanie Lucas’ residence in Shepherdsville around 11 a.m., discovered her children with gunshot wounds, as confirmed by the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office in a statement.
The brothers were quickly taken to a hospital in Louisville, where they died later, as per the police.
Lucas, 32, was taken to the Bullitt County jail and charged with two counts of murder.
As per an arrest report cited by WLKY, a neighbor who “felt something was off” discovered the children covered in blood in a bedroom alongside a gun resting on the bed.
Another neighbor told the news outlet she was shocked by the news after having seen the kids just days before at the bus stop.
“It makes me sick, just thinking of any kid getting hurt or possibly losing their life. It’s just devastating,” she told WLKY.
There were no additional details released about the case.
Lawlessness continues spreading into America's wealthy neighborhoods as criminals are emboldened by leftist rogue prosecutors, progressive bail reform laws, defunding the police policies, and other soft-on-crime policies in crime-ridden Democrat-run cities.
A recent incident in Chicago highlights the concerns why law-abiding taxpayers should reconsider their residence in collapsing progressive cities: Last week, a family in the Beverly neighborhood was held up at gunpoint in their own driveway.
According to local media WGN-TV, the two robbers "took the victim's belongings and fled the scene in the stolen car."
X account Awake Illinois posted a shocking video with comments from the family about the incident:
"This could have easily been your wife/daughter/son/mother/you. I ask all of you men who are tasked with protecting your family, when is enough enough? Does the gun have to go off & kill us to wake up & do something about this senseless violence?" the father of the family who wished not to be named said.
"This family was unaware they were likely followed home by the attackers. Please be aware of your surroundings as these attacks are happening with increased frequency in the Chicago area. We support this family and hope the criminals are apprehended and brought to justice," Awake Illinois said.
The controversial federal mandate requiring all vehicles from 2026 onwards to embed an auto-disable or “kill switch” technology was met with resistance on Tuesday as it faced potential defunding. Despite efforts by Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie, the House chose to reject the amendment that could have seen the mandate dissolved, in a vote of 229 to 201, thereby keeping the future of personal movement under the watchful presence of corporations and government.
The mandate was originally integrated into the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, prompting Massie to attempt defunding it. The dividing lines were clearly drawn, with 210 Democrats and 19 Republicans voting against the amendment and just two Democrats siding with the 199 Republicans who voted in favor. Eight members abstained from participating in the late-night voting session.
The kill switch mandate forms a critical element of the 2021 infrastructure law. Car manufacturers are bound by the legislation to incorporate advanced driving technology designed to proactively assess a driver’s performance and, if deemed impaired, limit or completely prevent the vehicle from functioning. Hailed initially as a safety feature, it also raises privacy concerns, providing unprecedented access to personal information and individual freedom of movement.
However, attempts to call attention to the potential overreach of this mandate have been dismissed. Assertions were made that the hyperbole surrounding the term “kill switch” was simply alarmist, as the suggestions under consideration wouldn’t abruptly halt a moving vehicle, as if that was the only thing that people were concerned about.
Undermining the credibility of these dismissals, however, is the reality that the implementation of this technology would be directed by non-elected agency officials. The substantial power handed to these individuals to dictate the operations of new vehicles highlights a potential overreach of authority and encroachment on privacy.
San Jacinto County, located to the north of Houston in east Texas, is under a county-wide shelter-in-place order after a large chemical plant caught fire and exploded in Shepherd.
"At this time, the effects of the chemical in the air are unknown," announced the emergency management unit in neighboring Polk County about the incident.
Area schools have all been evacuated, and residents living in the area have been warned to turn off their HVAC systems to avoid circulating potentially toxic air through their homes.
Right after the fire and explosion first occurred, the chemical and smoke plumes were so large that a shelter-in-place order was issued for a five-mile radius around the plant, which processes petroleum.
After emergency crews successfully battled the blaze, the shelter-in-place order was reduced to just one mile.

At least one worker at the plant was injured during the fire in a "freak accident" that was reportedly caused by a forklift incident. He was taken to nearby Memorial Hermann for treatment of second-degree burns to his arms and first-degree burns to his face.
Sound Resource Solutions, the company that owns the plant, reported that all 40 employees are now fully accounted for with just this one "minor" injury involving burns to the face and arms.
The only problem now is southwesterly winds that continue to gust over Shepherd, which are driving potentially toxic chemical and smoke plumes down towards Houston and along the Gulf Coast even further south than that.
An investigation is pending to look into exactly which chemicals were burned and released, and how toxic the air above and around the plant might be.
"Oh look, another 'coincidence,'" wrote one skeptical commenter about the unlikelihood of this being just another "accident."
"It is notable that they never break out at sex change offices or in D.C.," wrote another about how all these fires and explosions never occur where the bad guys are – why is that?
"It's been a while since they've sabotaged critical infrastructure," wrote another, the suggestion being that this is all planned. "They are behind schedule."
"Wow, I'm so relieved! At first I thought these tragic photos were from a recent attack on Ukraine or Israel," joked another. "Thank goodness it is just our ever-exploding energy, transportation, and food infrastructure."
Another wondered whether the people in Lahaina, Maui, were asked to shelter in place when their town was burned out by a "wildfire," also known as a directed energy weapons (DEW) attack.
"Looks like smoke from Styrofoam," expressed another about the ugly, toxic look of the smoke in the above videos and pictures. "This is not the DDT truck you want to run behind."
"I truly don't remember these types of incidents along with the heightened frequency even as little as 20 years ago," said someone else. "Are terrorists operating in the United States?"

Matt Ulrich, a former Indianapolis Colts offensive guard who achieved Super Bowl glory, has passed away at the age of 41, as confirmed by the team’s owner, Jim Irsay.
“I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of Matt Ulrich,” Irsay posted on X. “Matt was with us only two seasons, but left his mark on many. Great guy, I hear he was a great dad — and he was a Super Bowl champ. My prayers to his family.”
Following his time as a captain at Northwestern University, Ulrich transitioned to the NFL, playing two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, marking the entirety of his professional football career. Notably, he clinched a Super Bowl championship with the Colts when they triumphed over the Chicago Bears with a 29–17 victory in Super Bowl XLI, a team led by Peyton Manning.
Following his retirement from football, Ulrich co-founded DexaFit LLC, a company specializing in body fat and metabolic testing, which has since established its presence across the nation. Ulrich also served as a player advisor for the Harvard Football Players Health Study, boasting certifications from Harvard Business School. In his post-football life, the retired offensive guard built a life in Bozeman, Montana, alongside his wife and their four sons.
The specific cause of his passing has not yet been disclosed.
