In "Significant Shift" To Bailing Out Its Sinking Property Sector, China Puts Largest Developer On Rescue "White List"
In a move which analysts say marks a "significant shift" in Beijing's strategy to assist distressed builders and boost confidence in China's sinking housing sector amid the deepening property crisis, overnight Beijing included property giants Country Garden Holdings (whose collapse would be orders of magnitude worse than that of Evergrande) and Sino-Ocean Group to China's draft list of 50 developers eligible for a range of financing support which we profiled earlier this week.
As Bloomberg anchor Sofia Horta e Costa notes, "Country Garden was previously the leading developer by sales with numerous ongoing construction projects. If China aims to bolster confidence among homeowners and buyers, ensuring that projects will be completed and delivered seamlessly even in the event of a developer default, then this is the way to go."
CIFI Holdings Group, another builder that has missed debt payments, was also included on the white list according to Bloomberg, which adds that regulators are set to finalize the roster and distribute it to banks and other financial institutions within days.
The inclusion of distressed builders such as Country Garden, which missed payments on a dollar bond for the first time last month, underscores regulators’ shifting stance toward some of the nation’s biggest private developers as the refusal of the relentless property crisis to ease. Chinese President Xi Jinping has also stepped up support for the broader economy, issuing more sovereign debt for infrastructure spending, raising the budget deficit ratio and even making an unprecedented visit to the central bank.
Then again, not a day goes by this year when we are not inundated with the latest Chinese "news" and "plans" of a moderate stimulus, one which never actually materializes, however, and which is just recycled into the next newscycle where readers completely forget that they are just reading recycled news over and over.

DoDEA America's Chief of Staff Arrested in Human Trafficking Sting Operation in Georgia
The chief of staff for Department of Defense Education Activity schools in the U.S. was arrested last week during a two-day human trafficking operation in Coweta County, Georgia, according to local authorities.
Stephen Hovanic, 64, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, was arrested Nov. 15 in a sting that netted 25 additional suspects on charges related to prostitution as well as drugs, weapons and warrants, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office and its Police to Citizen Portal website.
Hovanic was charged with pandering -- a crime that involves inducing or compelling an individual to take part in prostitution. In Georgia, it is a misdemeanor charge that includes soliciting the services of a prostitute, either for oneself or an arrangement for a third party.
"Pandering is not a victimless crime, as the demand for prostitution drives the sex-trafficking market," Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Toby Nix told the Newnan Times-Herald, a local newspaper, on Nov. 17.
Hovanic has served as chief of staff for DoDEA Americas since October 2010, according to his Defense Department biography, which has since been removed from the DoDEA website. An educator for more than 40 years, he worked as a high school vocational teacher, coach and school administrator in the Virginia public school system before joining DoDEA as assistant principal of Quantico High School in 1996.
He was named principal of Dahlgren School, also in Virginia, in 2001 and served there until 2008, when he transferred to be an instructional systems specialist at the department's area service center in Peachtree City, Georgia.
William Griffin, spokesman for DoDEA, said that Hovanic is currently on leave from his position.

CBP Thwarts Four-Vehicle Border Rush in Maine, Apprehends 20 Romanians — Including Two Involved in Organized Crime
Border Patrol thwarted four vehicles working in coordination to rush the border between the US and Canada in Maine on Tuesday.
Agents apprehended 20 Romanian nationals from inside the vehicles, two of whom are involved in Transnational Criminal Organized Crime.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a press release that the incident occurred at the international boundary from Canada on Lincoln Road in Hodgdon at approximately 6:10 a.m.
Agents stopped the vehicles using “emergency equipment,” but the press release did not elaborate on what that was.
“This incident is indicative of an overall rise in apprehensions witnessed here in Houlton Sector,” said Acting Patrol Agent in Charge Dennis Harmon. “In the last three Octobers, Houlton Sector encountered a total of 33 individuals. In fiscal year 2024 alone, we’ve encountered 55. While this increase poses challenges to Border Patrol resources, it does not dissuade the great work done by our dedicated Agents here in Houlton Sector.”
The 20 Romanians were transported to Fort Fairfield Station to be processed.
Border Patrol said that the detainees are mostly family units, consisting of ten adults and ten juveniles.
Two of the subjects were positive Transnational Criminal Organized Crime matches and were processed for Expedited Removal proceedings.
The agency did not name any of those apprehended or elaborate on their ties to international organized crime.

Former U.S. troops punished for rejecting COVID “vaccination” SUE Biden for billions in lost wages
A lawyer who successfully brought down the vaccine for anthrax has done it again, this time with a lawsuit against the Biden regime on behalf of former United States military servicemen who lost pay and benefits due to the government's Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "vaccine" mandate.
Attorney Dale Saran, a retired marine himself, is joined by fellow attorneys Andy Meyer and Brandon Johnson, all of whom are joining former troops in three separate lawsuits being filed against the president and his cabinet.
The three separate lawsuits are expected to be turned into a class action lawsuit representing all servicemen who were kicked out of the military or otherwise illegally ordered to stop drilling because they refused to roll up their sleeves for a round of COVID injections.
According to Saran, the amount of money being sought is in the "billions," which he says is appropriate because "that's what it is in backpay – it's billions of dollars."
Biden's COVID jab mandate impacted up to 100,000 U.S. military servicemen
Filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the three lawsuits will be heard in a specialized court where illegal discharges are heard.
"The Court of Claims has been around since the Reconstruction Era," Saran noted about this little-known court. "It's a very old court and kind of a weird one."
"But in any event, you can go there if you've got a claim and say, 'Hey, I was illegally discharged, or the military did something to impede my pay,' or whatever. The Court of Claims is where you go."

Law enforcement officials tell Congress that Hamas may be planning terrorist attack on the homeland
Image Credit: Downtown Manhattan view from Brooklyn on September 11, 2001 (4 picture series - 2/4) by Julien Maculan is licensed under Unsplash unsplash.com
WASHINGTON, DC- In what should likely be a surprise to nobody, officials from within the Department of Homeland Security told a House committee this week that there is increasing concern about a possible terrorist attack from Hamas occurring in the United States, The Jerusalem Post reports.
The testimony before the House Homeland Security Committee saw officials highlighting the growing global threat and possible consequences here in the homeland after Hamas launched a terrorist attack against Israel last month, resulting in over 1,400 deaths of Israeli men, women, and children.
Leading off the testimony was Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, who has overseen the equivalent of a foreign invasion at the US southern border while doing nothing to stem the onslaught.
“Already, in the weeks since the assessment publication, the world has changed after Hamas terrorists viciously attacked thousands of innocent men, women, and children in Israel on October 7, 2023, brutally murdering, wounding, and taking hostages of all ages,” Mayorkas said.
While the attack took place in Israel, the ramifications of it have been felt throughout the world, including the United States.
“Since this department’s inception, the threat landscape our department is charged with confronting continues to evolve,” Mayorkas said. “Although the terrorism threat in the United States has remained heightened throughout 2023, Hamas’s attack on Israel, along with other recent events, have sharpened the focus of potential attacks on targeted individuals and institutions perceived as symbolic of or tied to the conflict.”
FBI Director Christopher Wray amplified Mayorkas’s concerns.

Royal Navy nuclear sub sank into danger zone following gauge malfunction, nearly killing 140 crew members
A Royal Navy nuclear submarine preparing to go on patrol experienced a serious malfunction while it was diving recently that nearly ended in what experts believe could have been the worst disaster experienced by the Royal Navy since World War II.
The Vanguard-class vessel, which is now a few decades old, was carrying 140 crew as well as Trident 2 Doomsday missiles when a depth gauge failed. This caused its commanders to believe that it was level at a safer and shallower depth while it was actually still descending and meant they did not know how deep it was actually traveling. It was almost into what is considered the “danger zone” when engineers at the back realized that something was amiss and raised an alarm.
Although the sub was within its limits of safe operation at the time of the incident, it was diving toward its crush depth. When a submarine reaches its crush depth, it can implode because of the water pressure. The Sun, which broke the story, reports that if the ship had imploded, a salvage mission would need to be launched immediately to recover the Royal Navy’s top-secret vessel as well as its nuclear reactor before Russia arrived to the scene.
A secondary depth gauge is being credited with saving the day, underscoring the importance of the redundant systems used by subs to help reduce the risks that are involved in operating these complicated military vessels. The Royal Navy carried out an investigation into the incident, which took place more than a year ago but only recently came to the public’s attention. The details of the investigation are being kept confidential, however.

North Korea says received images of US Guam airbase from spy satellite: KCNA
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reviewed photographs of major US military bases in Guam, received from the country’s first spy satellite in orbit, state media said Wednesday.
Kim “watched the aerospace photos of Anderson Air Force Base, Apra Harbor and other major military bases of the U.S. forces taken in the sky above Guam in the Pacific, which were received at 9:21 a.m. on Nov. 22”, state-run news agency KCNA said, having earlier announced the purportedly successful launch of the North’s “Malligyong-1” spy satellite.

Nord Stream attack was ‘state terrorism’ – Putin
The bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipelines was an “act of state terrorism” aimed at eliminating a key energy competitor of the West, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a virtual summit of G20 leaders.
Nord Stream 1 and 2 each comprised two separate pipelines, linking Russia and Germany. Three out of the four lines were destroyed in a series of explosions near the Danish island of Bornholm last September, severing Germany’s energy ties to Russia and leaving its gas-dependent economy reliant on more expensive American liquefied natural gas.
“To eliminate competitors and gain advantages, unfair methods of competition are used,” Putin said. “Not only the destruction of transport and logistics chains and international payment channels, but also acts of state terrorism.”
“A blatant example of this is the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipeline system, laid along the bottom of the Baltic Sea,” he added.
While Putin did not identify a culprit behind the bombing, he has previously said that he “fully agrees” with American journalist Seymour Hersh, who blamed the act of sabotage on the CIA. Citing sources within the intelligence community, Hersh alleged that the agency carried out the attack with the help of the Norwegian navy, under the direct orders of the White House.
The Russian president argued that the US benefited from the attack due to its position as a supplier of liquefied natural gas to Europe.
A competing theory popularized by multiple Western media outlets suggests that a team of Ukrainian commandos destroyed the pipelines, using a rented yacht to transport the explosives to the blast sites. Earlier this month, the Washington Post named Roman Chervinsky – a Ukrainian colonel close to the national security service (SBU) – and Ukraine’s top general, Valery Zaluzhny, as the masterminds of the attack.
Chervinsky dismissed the allegations as “Russian propaganda,” despite the fact that they originated in an American newspaper citing European and Ukrainian officials.

Israel approves MULTI-DAY CEASEFIRE DEAL: Hundreds of imprisoned Palestinian women and children to be released in exchange for 50 Israeli hostages
The Israeli emergency war cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a multi-day ceasefire deal with Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups in Gaza, which will see 50 Israeli hostages and hundreds of unlawfully detained Palestinian women and children released.
The terms of the deal call for a four-day ceasefire in Gaza, during which the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will halt all its military operations in the Strip, including all ground and some air operations. In exchange, Hamas will free "at least" 50 of the roughly 240 hostages it and other Palestinian groups are currently holding in Gaza. All of these 50 hostages will be women and children – 30 children, 12 women and eight mothers.
For every 10 hostages Hamas releases into Israeli custody, the ceasefire will be extended by at least one more day, which could see the lull in the fighting last for up to nine days. Israeli media even optimistically reported that Hamas could potentially locate some 30 more Israeli women and children beyond the initial 50 who could be released, allowing the ceasefire to be extended to 12 days.
During this ceasefire, Israel will also be allowing around 300 more aid trucks per day to enter Gaza from Egypt through the Rafah Border Crossing. More fuel will also be allowed to enter Gaza during this time.
But the Israeli government has made it clear that this ceasefire is only temporary. "The Israeli government, the IDF and the security forces will continue the war to return all the abductees, complete the elimination of Hamas and ensure that Gaza does not renew any threat to the State of Israel," said the Israeli war cabinet in a statement.
"We are at war, and we will continue the war," said Netanyahu. "We will continue until we achieve all our goals."
Fortunately for Gazans, this long-term lull in the fighting could lead to additional pressure, both international and domestic, for Israel to agree to a permanent ceasefire without having achieved its goal of destroying Hamas' military capabilities.

‘They Was First In Line for Turkeys This Morning’: Low-Income New Yorkers OUTRAGED After Illegals Get First Dibs on Free Thanksgiving Meals
Image Credit: Youtube screenshot / Fox 5 New York
Low-income residents in New York City are upset they’re having to compete with the throngs of illegal migrants who are all lining up to get free Thanksgiving handouts.
In a recent Fox 5 New York report, black residents in Queens protested the illegals who showed up in their city unannounced and are now taking all the free food for themselves.
“Why do we have to take the butt of everything?” one struggling resident asked, adding, “This community here is already suffering,”
The complaints come as over 8,000 illegals have invaded the area over the past year, with many rushing to fill lines for free handouts and giveaways before residents themselves have a chance to jump in line.
“They was first in line for the turkeys this morning. If they tell you to be there at 11 o’clock, you get there like 10:30, 10:45, but they already out there,” the resident added.
The rising tensions come as New York taxpayers have grown fed up with NYC’s Sanctuary City policies and bearing the financial burden of shelters and other expenses associated with accommodating the migrant influx.
Even Democrat NYC Mayor Eric Adams placed the blame squarely on the Biden Administration’s lax open border policies, warning last September, “This issue will destroy New York City.”

LA teen 'flash mob' makes off with $12,000 from Nike store
Shocking footage captured a group of teens brazenly robbing a Nike store in Los Angeles on Sunday. The robbery comes as authorities struggle to contain rampant retail theft that has plagued California under Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's leadership.
Video shows more than a dozen teens stuffing shoes into trash bags, grabbing clothing off the racks, and roaming the store like a pack of wild wildebeests before fleeing the Nike Community Store on South Alameda Street with the stolen items. Many of them wore masks to conceal their identities. The Los Angeles Police Department said there are 17 suspects in total. 13 of them are males and 4 of them are females. All of them are black in race and between the ages of 15 and 20, the Daily Mail reports.
The thieving teens made their escape around 6 pm in five vehicles including a gray KIA SUV, a white Honda, a KIA four-door, a black Audi, and a tan Infiniti four-door.
The outlet reports that the group had stolen $12,000 worth of merchandise.
Brazen retail theft has become a common occurrence in California, as well as the entire West Coast.According to the Public Policy Institute of California, Los Angeles County has the highest commercial robbery rate in the state, with a 15.7 percent increase since 2019.
California law enforcement agencies have begun working to address organized retail theft statewide. In August, Gov. Newsom announced that resources for the California Highway Patrol (CHP) would be tripling to fight rampant retail theft.
"The CHP is the proven leader in tackling organized retail theft and through this expanded partnership the agency will further assist the city in doing its job to keep Angelenos and their businesses safe," Newsom said in a press release at the time. The cost for law enforcement to tackle organized retail theft comes at a hefty price tag. The crackdowns are expected to cost the state more than $19 billion this year, according to the outlet.

Louisville Bank Shooter Connor Sturgeon Manifesto Released After 7 Months: Deranged Leftist Shooter Wrote in His Notebook That He Targeted “Upper Class White People”
As previously reported, Connor Sturgeon, the Louisville bank shooter who went on a killing spree in April of this year, left a 13-page manifesto before he went on a rampage.
It was previously reported that Sturgeon was under the care of health professionals and was being treated for depression at the time he fatally shot five people and injured several others.
On April 10, Sturgeon, 25 walked into Old National Bank and fatally shot five people. Several others were injured in the shooting.
A responding police officer shot and killed Sturgeon.
Sturgeon reportedly had three reasons for the attack.
1.) To prove how easy it is to buy a gun
2.) To highlight America’s mental health crisis(?)
3.) To kill himself – and take others with himHowever, new information about Sturgeon’s motives for the shooting has come to light.
Connor Sturgeon’s manifesto and contents from his notebooks were released by LMPD more than 7 months after the mass shooting.
According to new documents released, Connor Sturgeon said he targeted “upper-class white people.”
“I have decided to make an impact. These people did not deserve to die, but because I was depressed and able to buy (guns?), they are gone. Perhaps this is the impact for change — upper class white people dying. I certainly would not have been able to do this were it more difficult to get a gun — just called in, 45 mins, get AR-15,” Sturgeon wrote, according to a report obtained by WLKY.

Why did law enforcement wait 7 months to disclose this information to the public?

Mysterious pneumonia ripping through Chinese schools sparks fears among scientists of a Covid repeat
Scientists today called for vigilance and transparency from China amid reports of a mystery cluster of pneumonia which has eerie similarities to the early Covid outbreak.
Hospitals in Beijing and 500 miles northeast in Liaoning are 'overwhelmed with sick children' with unusual symptoms that include inflammation in the lungs and a high fever but no cough, according to local news reports.
Dr Jennifer Nuzzo, an epidemiologist and director of the Pandemic Center at Brown University School of Public Health, told DailyMail.com the news was 'alarming'.
She said we should 'hold all countries to that same standard', referencing China's history of covering up new outbreaks, which happened in 2003 with the original SARS and in 2019 with Covid.
Dr Krutika Kuppalli, an infectious disease physician who is part of the WHO's Health Emergencies Program, said testing and making those results public was crucial, adding in a post on X that the illness 'could be anything'.
Dr Neil Stone, an infectious diseases specialist doctor at the University College Hospital in London, wrote on the platform formerly known as Twitter: 'The last time I saw reports of an outbreak of undiagnosed pneumonia in China thought, naa...no big deal. [It] won't amount to much.
'That was in December 2019. Not making that same mistake again.'
The alert around China was issued late on Tuesday via ProMed - a large, publicly available global surveillance system that monitors infectious diseases.
It was a ProMed notification back in December 2019 that brought Covid to the attention of the world.
Taiwanese outlet FTV News reported that hospitals were being 'overwhelmed' with sick children in the latest outbreak.
It added that 'parents questioned whether the authorities were covering up the epidemic.'

VICTORY against Monsanto achieved: Chemical giant forced to pay out over $1.5 billion in Roundup verdict
Three former users of Roundup weed killer have won more than $1.5 billion in a judgment against Monsanto, now a unit of Bayer AG, that a Missouri jury says must pay its victims for the glyphosate-based herbicide giving them cancer.
Jurors in state court in Jefferson City awarded James Draeger, Valerie Gunther and Dan Anderson a total of $61.1 million in actual damages along with another $500 million each in punitive damages over claims that using Roundup on their lawns and gardens caused them to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
The suit is one of many in recent days in which juries have ruled against Monsanto over claims concerning the carcinogenic properties of its Roundup formula. This latest suit is one of the largest to be handed down against a U.S.-based corporate defendant this year.
Will Monsanto survive the litigatory pressure?
Though Monsanto has won other similar such cases in the past, the fact that it lost this big one along with numerous others recently, has caused speculation that the now-German-owned drug and agriculture chemical company may need to alter its legal strategy.
The jury, based in Cole County, Mo., ruled that Monsanto is liable for claims of negligence, design defects and failing to warn plaintiffs of the potential health damages of using Roundup, the primary active ingredient of which is glyphosate.
Each of the three plaintiffs was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma that is said to have been caused by the simple use of Roundup on their family properties. The weed killer is highly toxic, we now know, and Monsanto is known for hiding and covering up the damning science against its products.
